Brazil offers distinct advantages, compared to other common IT-BPO locations, such as China or India. These include advanced infrastructure, market maturity, political stability and highly qualified professionals.
A summit in New York today will focus on investment and growth opportunities tied to Information and Communications Technology. Participants will include CEOs, CIOs, investors from multinational firms and investment funds, market analysts, specialised consultants and representatives from universities and research and development centres.
Executives representing Brazilian and US companies, including DELL, Johnson&Johnson and Motorola/C.E.S.A.R., will share insights into how they are leveraging Brazil’s IT strengths to grow their business.
Supported by Apex-Brazil, the summit is organised by Brasscom in association with the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of NY. The summit will provide a in-depth look at the factors behind the growth of the IT sector in Brazil and the advantages Brazil offers US companies as an outsourcing destination and growth centre.
